Bio
David changed his career from IT to Clinical Mental Health several years ago after spending time trying to understand and help his oldest child navigate the world with Autism. Early in David’s journey, he was introduced to DBT and how effective it was in assisting people to become more effective in life so they can stop surviving and start thriving.
David does his best work with adults and teens experiencing depression, social anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and self-harming behaviors who move through life believing that they are just not good enough. His work is not about just stopping behaviors or coping with emotions but developing new skills and generalizing them to everyday life.
He enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, traveling, reading, building electronics projects, 3d printing, or watching science fiction and anime shows in his spare time.
